Pikes Peak International Raceway is Colorado’s premier cultural music and motorsports venue located in Fountain, Colorado. Our venue is open to the public year-round, hosting various festivals, tons of live music, and several performance driving programs. The Track consists of a 1.3 mile infield Road Course, a 1 mile banked oval, a 3/4 mile Road Course, a 12 Acre Autocross and Drifting Lot, a 1/8 mile Drag Strip, and a Rally Cross Dirt Lot. We hold various Track Sprints and Open Lapping & PDX days that introduce drivers to performance driving. On specific Saturday Nights, we host Off The Street Drags, where we encourage drivers to get off the street and come drag race their friends on our drag strip!

Pikes Peak International Raceway’s very own autocross competition series, PPIR Track Attack, occurs monthly. Drivers of all levels can test and sharpen their abilities in their own vehicles on various infield road course configurations. Whether you’re running for fun or to take home a championship in your class, this is your chance to experience the thrill and exhilaration of burning up Pikes Peak International Raceway’s track! Rental helmets are always available, enabling new participants who do not have them to easily participate and experience auto-crossing for the first time. Track Attack Driver Entry tickets are $50 and Spectators are $10 Come out and race with us!

Our Open Lapping & PDX events are the perfect opportunity to gain seat time! Open Lapping is available to any driver with a valid and current Driver’s License. Sessions are divided into Advanced, Intermediate, and Novice Drivers. Drivers in Open Lapping are expected to understand track etiquette (including passing) and flag meanings! If you want to participate in Open lapping, but feel unsure on what to do, don’t worry! Sign up for our PDX Session and we will teach you everything you need to know! Pikes Peak International Raceway’s PDX program is designed for drivers who are new to Open Lapping Days at the race track. Participants of PDX will receive classroom instruction and one on one pit lane coaching. Upon completion, drivers will be prepared to participate at any Open Lapping Day at any race track. Drivers will learn the specifics of performance driving including seat position, drive line, apexes, braking zones, passing, track etiquette and flag meanings. Additionally, drivers will build confidence in car handling and better understand the limits of their personal vehicles. Advanced and Intermediate Driver tickets are $100 and the PDX: Novice Driver tickets are $150. Spectators are welcomed free of charge!

Pikes Peak International Raceway’s Track Sprints are for every kind of driver enthusiast. Unlike Track Attack or autocross events, there are no cones! The Track Sprint course is in the infield portion of our road course, but in the reverse direction. So drivers will get the opportunity to drive at road course speeds, but without the traffic of an Open Lapping Day. If you are new to performance driving, the Track Sprints offer the perfect and safe environment to push your car to the limits! If you are an autocrosser, but have never participated in Open Lapping, the Track Sprint is a great stepping stone to feel the car at higher speeds, without the pressure of sharing the track with other drivers. Driver Tickets are $50 and Spectator tTickets are $10!

Bring out your Street Legal Cars and Bikes to Pikes Peak International Raceway’s Off The Street Drags on Saturday Nights! Come run on our 1/8 mile Drag Strip and compete in continual grudge runs all night. All vehicles must be presented ready to race and pass our Vehicle Technical Inspection. Tickets are only $25! Kids 12 years old and under are free to spectate. All other passengers and spectators must purchase a Spectator Ticket for $10!
